Women today are filled with many responsibilities and diverse roles in their homes, communities, and churches. They are being moved by the Holy Spirit to prepare themselves and educate themselves to be better wives, mothers, and women in service to Christ, never forgetting who their head is, and honoring their marriages and families. When the Lord Jesus ministered, women played a vital and active role. These women were fundamental and crucial in serving God and the Lord Jesus by providing material support and breaking down cultural barriers in a time when women were not typically disciples.

In Luke 8:1-3, it can be observed that Jesus went through all the cities and around him there were women who participated in the ministry such as Mary Magdalene, who had been healed of 7 evil spirits, Joanna, wife of Chuza and Susanna who served him with their resources, etc.
These were real, historical women: Mary Magdalene (the first witness of the resurrection), Priscilla (a leader and teacher alongside her husband), Phoebe (a deaconess), Lydia (a patron and businesswoman), Joanna, Susanna, and Tabitha; there were also Elodia and Syntyche who, although they didn't always get along, served, and the list goes on. These and other women ministered and served. What about you that stops you from serving? Serve your Savior even when you are busy and full of responsibilities. Make time for the Lord, remembering that what you think is urgent isn't always what's important. Take time to meditate on His Word, pray, and have a personal relationship with Him. Just as the women mentioned were used powerfully in ministry, today Christian women full of grace, wisdom, compassion, and love can also impact their communities, ministries, and families, and motivate others to serve Christ.
Many may serve in secular government positions, institutions, health programs, Christian organizations, etc., where, as Christians, they represent the Lord Jesus and have been important role models in all these areas. In doing so, they have motivated other women to continue preparing themselves, educating themselves, and becoming better in their roles as Christians. The Bible values woman as a divine creation, essential, worthy of protection, respect, and honor, and says that:
· Woman was created in the image of God (Genesis 1:27-28)
· It has incalculable value and virtue (Prov. 31:10)
• He has strength and dignity (Proverbs 31:25)
• It has inner beauty (1 Peter 3:3-4)
· He is able to build his house with wisdom (Proverbs 14:1)
In March, the United States celebrates women in history, honoring their contributions, achievements, and the sacrifices they made throughout history for the benefit of the nation. I encourage you to share the stories of biblical and contemporary women who have served and continue to serve the Lord Jesus in ministry.
